Vague image

Nearly 10,000 miniature piezo speakers are integrated into the secondary glazing on the east and west façades of the EPCL and the Vallée de la Jeunesse Sports Center buildings. Through variations in their diameters, they form a visual pattern organized by a single, real image.

All the glass panels are connected to an audio system. At certain moments during the day, the entire façade murmurs with a faint sound of water flowing along the glass, evoking the former presence of the Flon river nearby, now buried underground.
