Ater takes place inside the former water reservoir of the Szilassy Park estate, long decommissioned for several decades. As one approaches, the visitor — alone, or perhaps with one companion — discovers an interior space filled with around 180 aligned copper wires, descending from the ceiling into a dark body of water in constant motion.
Beyond the faint splashing sounds caused by the rotation of the moving water, one can hear continuous and subtly unstable vibrations. Though their source is not easily identifiable, it becomes apparent that the tones are produced by the copper strings resonating within the cavernous space. It is the passage of the water that sets the strings into vibration, bringing them into resonance — their frequency shifting delicately with the intensity of the current and the eddies occasionally passing through each element.
